The actress, who has two children Apple, 9, and Moses, 7, told E! News:
‘Doing the lingerie striptease, I’m not sure exactly how you would
classify that, but it was very embarrassing.‘I was not comfortable at all, but, you know, it was a good challenge for me to put myself in a situation that I

‘I’m not an exhibitionist like that.’
The film, which also Mark Ruffalo and pop star Pink, tells the story of a woman named Phoebe, played by Gwyneth, who is struggling with her boyfriend’s sex addiction.
Felt bad, looked great: Despite being uncomfortable, the 41-year-old looked amazing
‘It was a challenge. It was definitely uncomfortable but it was great for me to find Phoebe. I’m this other woman and I’m really going to go for it. And it was fine. Mark is so lovely. He made it very easy.’
But of course, she had little to be embarrassed about.

Being in a film dealing with the issue of sex addiction was not a hard choice for the actress.
She said: ‘The script was so well written and so smart and so specific and so funny, and while also with dealing with the subject of people really coming to term, people bumping up against their own damage, having to come to terms with it and deal with it.
‘So I just thought it would be a really interesting experience and it was.’
